by West End Records' Vice President Adam Cruz, Mixtape Sessions is a brand
new indie music company, based out of the NYC metropolitan area. Mixtape
Sessions spotlights and features fresh new artists, their music and their
live performances. Its style crosses genres but remains steadfastly funk
and dance in terms of its sound. This sound has heavy influences in funk,
jazz, soul, and inspirational music. Artists working with Mixtape Sessions

Melodia" is the solo debut album by New Jersey based singer, Flora
Cruz (released on indie label, Mixtape Sessions.) This full-length LP
is a sweet composition of words and songs written by Flora Cruz and her
brother and the album's producer, Adam Cruz. The Spanish words "Dulce
Melodia" translate to 'Sweet Melody'; a perfect definition. Each
song describes Flora's journey as she examines her relationship with love
and God in an attempt to reach her full potential. Her LP has its own
unique style, influenced by several genres including Dance/Electronic,

Manchildblack
proudly eleases his brand new and much anticipated “My Mind’s
I” EP which will be the pre-cursor to his long awaited first full
length album. "For me, this EP is a collection of songs that tell
the story of my life up till now. It’s a reflection of everything
I’ve learned, seen, heard and felt". OuttaSight, the EP’s
thumping opening track is a ‘funkdafied’ introduction to
the Manchildblack sound. The mid-tempo groove Heavy showcases Manchild’s

Sessions is proud to bring you the latest offering from Eddie Nicholas.
“Ghumbah” is the brain child of DJ/Producer Adam Cruz. This
is a chant for the soul, a dance for our ancestors that live all around
us. Here, Eddie uses his amazing vocals to summon the Gods of Latin
Roots. The result is an intense Latin fusion of Afro-Caribbean drum
rhythms, sexy strings, and bangin’ bongos. Perfect for the summer,
“Ghumbah” is inspired by and pays homage to such legendary
congueros as Mongo Santamaría, Carlos “Patato” Valdes,
Jose Luis Quintana “Changuito” and many others like them.
Eddie brings his gospel flavor to the forefront and creates his own
Guaguancó; his first sung completely in Spanish. Make no mistake

Cruz "Overcome EP", "Let The Sunshine Out" chronicles
Flora's path toward self-discovery and spiritual re-connection. Her vocals
