"Dulce
Melodia" is the solo debut album by New Jersey based singer,
Flora Cruz (released on indie label, Mixtape Sessions.) This full-length
LP is a sweet composition of words and songs written by Flora
Cruz and her brother and the album's producer, Adam Cruz. The
Spanish words "Dulce Melodia" translate to 'Sweet Melody';
a perfect definition. Each song describes Flora's journey as she
examines her relationship with love and God in an attempt to reach
her full potential. Her LP has its own unique style, influenced
by several genres including Dance/Electronic, Funk, Soul, Latin,
Pop and Jazz. "Producer Adam Cruz and singer Flora Cruz deliver

Eddie Nicholas brings you, Ghumbah, the hottest record of the
year! Mixtape Sessions is proud to bring you the latest offering
from Eddie Nicholas. “Ghumbah” is the brain child
of DJ/Producer Adam Cruz. This is a chant for the soul, a dance
for our ancestors that live all around us. Here, Eddie uses his
amazing vocals to summon the Gods of Latin Roots. The result is
an intense Latin fusion of Afro-Caribbean drum rhythms, sexy strings,
and bangin’ bongos. Perfect for the summer, “Ghumbah”
is inspired by and pays homage to such legendary congueros as
Mongo Santamaría, Carlos “Patato” Valdes, Jose
Luis Quintana “Changuito” and many others like them.
Eddie brings his gospel flavor to the forefront and creates his
own Guaguancó; his first sung completely in Spanish. Make
no mistake about it, “Ghumbah” is a religious experience
set to music. “Baila Ghumbah! Si Senor! Baila Ghumbah! Como
no!”

from some of our best remixers! Mixtape Sessions is proud to bring
you the latest offering from Flora Cruz. Released in January 2008,
Overcome is about the struggles of living day to day. This song
is for anyone who's learned to overcome real adversity in their
life. Since its release, the feedback on her “Overcome”
EP has been wonderful. In particular, producers, DJs, and music
lovers have all felt a strong connection with the EP’s title
track and its empowering messages.
We received so many requests to remix “Overcome” that we had to release them all. Here, we feature incredible remixes from noted dance music producers from around the world including: Phil Hooton, Glenn Thornton, Matt Hughes, and Anderson Soares. THE
